1. Assemble the Labyrinth: Unfold the game board and place it in the center of the playing area.
2. Shuffle the Treasure Cards: Mix the treasure cards face down and deal two cards to each player. Players keep their cards secret from each other.
3. Starting the Labyrinth: Shuffle the maze cards face down and draw four cards. These four cards will form the initial starting section of the maze, placed face up to connect in any way (not necessarily forming a perfect square).
4. Choose Your Adventurer: Each player picks a pawn and places it on any starting space on the game board.

How to play?

The game is played in turns, with players taking turns in a clockwise direction. Here's what happens on your turn:

1. Shift the Maze: Draw one card from the top of the maze card deck. This card shows a new section of the maze. Carefully slide one of the existing maze rows on the board out to make space for the new card. Place the new card next to the remaining maze, ensuring it connects to at least one edge of an existing maze piece. Important: You cannot completely isolate any existing maze sections when shifting the maze.
2. Move Your Pawn: Once you've shifted the maze, you can now move your pawn on the maze paths. You can move your pawn as far as the paths allow on your turn, or choose to stay put.
3. Finding Treasures: If you land on a space with a treasure symbol, it's time to check your secret treasure cards! Reveal one of your treasure cards. If the symbol on the card matches the treasure symbol on the space you landed on, you've found a treasure! Discard the matching treasure card and draw a new one from the deck to keep your next objective hidden.

Winning the Game:

The first player to find all their hidden treasures and return to their starting space on the board wins the game! Once you've found all your treasures, simply move your pawn back to your starting space to claim victory.
